Monday 22nd - Friday 26th
Finalized timetable - After last week we have finally confirmed out negotiation form and know exactly what we have to produce by the 19th of May. So this week I finalized my time table by working out roughly how long I felt it would take me to produce each animation and scheduling in over time in case things go wrong. I also marked Weekends as breaks however we all know this will likely not be the case.
CodeName (Block) - On Monday I began blocking out he walk cycle for my dialogue piece CodeName.
CodeName Features 3 horses walking as they make fun of a prisoner, they are transporting, for having a codename.
This is a piece I have previously animated and am re-creating using feedback and research I have gathered from the Professional practice module.
I spent a couple of days on this walk cycle and wasn't happy with it and towards the ends of the week I started to run in to problems with my rigs, and ZV Parent master and decided I needed to put this project to one side for a bit, take a break and come back with fresh eyes. So I decided to move my schedule around a bit, bringing my other dialogue piece 'MI6' forward and pushing 'CodeName' back a week.
MI6 Prep - Today (Friday) I started cutting together my LAV's that I filmed for MI6 and implementing them in to a Maya Image plane so I can reference it during animation.
Then I started to gather together files of props ready to start blocking on Monday.
