Friday 30th October
Over the past couple of work sessions we have been tasked to write a summary for one of our stories. I have been finding this very difficult as writing isn't my strong suit.
However I am trying my best and Connor suggested to break each section down and write them as separate entities and then join them together, rather than trying to structure it as I go.
I found this very useful and decided to take another look at the PowerPoint presentation and take the sections written in that and write a paragraph for each.
Summary
Structure (4 questions+)
landscape
Character descriptions
and SWOT
This really helped and I managed to write a bit on each and now my synopsis is looking more like a synopsis :)
I will present what I have written to Gerald in our 1 to 1 on Wednesday and hopefully he can help we with the order and structure of the synopsis itself.
I also have some drawings of how the characters may look in the 'Colin the Rescue Cockerel' story which are presented above.
I also looked at the Brief for this blog and found I have to write 200+ words for each post.
So I now realise I was probably meant to write a large post every Friday or something rather than 2-3 times a week like I have been doing.
I think I am going to continue how I have been writing for now and maybe when work gets harder, change to once a week, long blog?
