Monday 8th - Thursday 11th March
My second project was a run cycle.
The run cycle initially started off as a posh weightier, holding a tray of wine glasses, and part way through his walk he stumbles and almost drops the tea before re gathering his composure and continuing to walk.
I really like this idea and want to work on it in future however I ran in to complications early on with rigging the tray and cups.
I have the application for The BlueZoo Internship tomorrow and knew at the start of the week I wouldn't have enough time to sort out the rigging problems and resorted to a back up animation of a frightened run cycle based on the timid walk in the '100 Walks video'.
I really enjoyed this short animation and it is one of my favourite animations I have produced so far. I got feedback throughout the week from Leon, but not as much as I did in the previous animations as I was able to translate the advice he gave me before, in to this animation.
If there was anything I was going to change about this animation it would be how quickly he runs, It was suggested I make him a little faster and I agree with this, however I ran in to more complications with animation layers and was unable to change the speed of the animation before the Application deadline. I begin my next project Tomorrow so don't have time to work on fixing the problem, however if there is time at the end I might try speeding it up a bit, however I am still very happy with how it looks as is.
