Morning - Today we had group chats at Half an hour per group where Gerald made sure we understood what we were aiming to do an how the course is going for us. This was handy and an ice catch up with other members of the course I haven't spoken to yet.
Because of the group chats the rest of the day was free to work on our stories so I worked on a summary for my new story about Colin the Cockerel.
I wrote out the key story points that needed to be included and wrote them out a couple of times with different wording to see which version worked best.
I love coming up with ideas but really struggle when it comes to writing them out. Especially in a condensed form so I need to contact Gerald about how to lay everything out.
Afternoon - In todays creative and cultural lecture we had a bit more detail on what we needed to include in the presentation and the preferred order everything should be in, which was very helpful. We had most of the information we needed just missing some minor details.
After this session I handed out research assignments to each member based on the key areas we needed to cover and told everyone to submit it by Friday as I will need to then convert it all in to a cohesive PowerPoint for the following Wednesday.
